This new series came has come to fruition as we enter the third year of a pandemic and an increasingly divided political atmosphere.
The way we see things has become fractured and skewed.
As an artist working with flowers, I am constantly searching for a new way to see them. When I began, I had insects in mind, how do they see flowers? But the series evolved into something much more- as heavy as it is expressive. It stands as a mirror reflecting the world I see it today.
